“As an artist, I enjoy working with different methods and diverse tools. My works extend from the visual realm, to music and texts. I use pigment, but I also manipulate pixels and get excited in programming the computer. I attempt to create works that will produce an element of significance for the modern viewer, a tangible moment of comprehension, an instant of grasping the presumed hidden world behind the canvas or the screen.”
Juhani Räisänen has been born in Helsinki. He works and lives in Espoo.
